Terms of Use — CompilePilot

These terms supplement the applicable Apple terms for downloading and using CompilePilot from the App Store.

License

CompilePilot is licensed, not sold. Its use is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA and the applicable App Store usage rules.

Requirements and use

You are responsible for having a compatible Mac, configured Xcode tools, authorized SSH access, valid development signing, and permission to build the selected projects. Do not use CompilePilot to access machines or code without authorization.

The Mac Companion

The Companion is a separate, free macOS application distributed outside the App Store: it is downloaded from GitHub, signed and notarized by Apple. Apple’s Standard EULA cited above covers the iOS app, not the Companion. Installing it is optional, and CompilePilot works without it.

Purchases and subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple and managed through your App Store account. Prices, periods, trials, and renewals shown in the app come from StoreKit and are subject to Apple’s terms.

Third-party services

You may choose to use external services, such as a VPN or Tailscale, to connect your devices. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. CompilePilot is not affiliated with Tailscale.
